 About Me

I am a person in long term recovery who has dedicated my life to helping others who struggle with the disease of addiction. Cofounder of The Truman Houses (recovery homes for men) in Terre Haute, Indiana, Nationally Certified Interventionist and Recovery Coach. I am a family man, father of 5 beautiful children, and ordained Minister who focuses on the spiritual aspects of recovery.

Recovery Coach

I will use my experience, strength, and hope to help you reach your personal recovery goals. As the co-founder of Truman Recovery, I have had the opportunity and privilege to guide many through the struggles of early recovery. Many of which have become success stories and still walk this road of recovery with me today.

My experience working in the mental health field and my 20 years of alcoholism/addiction has left me with the ability to meet people right where they are at. We will create a recovery plan that is tailored specifically to your individual needs. There are many different paths to recovery, let’s find yours today.

Interventionist

A National Outreach Coordinator. I speak with family members and loved ones of the addict/alcoholic all the time. It is unfortunate that I do not have many options to give them. The disease of addiction is cunning, baffling, and powerful and the road to recovery can sometimes be hard to find. Unless the person wants help. I have only one suggestion and that is an intervention.

I have been professionally trained by Cali Estes and The Addictions Academy, to formulate a strategy tailored to the specific dynamics of your situation. It can be very beneficial to have a professional, such as myself to formulate, construct, and execute this process. If you have a loved one, spouse, or family member suffering from this terminal disease… Please reach out.

Speaker

Very early in my recovery I developed an obsession for motivational and inspirational speakers. Such as, Tony Robbins, Les Brown, and Eric Thomas… just to name a few. I studied and listened to them to the point that each of their voices became familiar, like that of an old friend. I started to speak their words and did it so often that I started to believe them. I remember the first time I took a stage and the overwhelming fear prior to, followed by the single, most gratifying experience of my life. I knew in that moment that this is what I was born to do. Since then, I have spoken all over the country on stage, radio, film, and social media. I have a live broadcast on social media that I do 5 days a week, called “Inspire in the AM”.

I can bring energy and life into any environment. Whether it be increasing moral and enthusiasm in the work place, speaking to high school students about topics such as bullying and suicide, or spreading the need for drug awareness and treatment. I always consider my audience and tailor the message to meet their needs.
